After the success of the Mama Café we are expanding with something new: Mama Klets. Together with Mommunity, we are organizing this morning and creating a place where moms can meet and share experiences. A lovely morning especially for moms with older children (ages 4 to 12).

Where it Mama Café While intended for moms *with* young children (0-4 years), Mama Klets is specifically a moment for moms among themselves. A moment without children, to share experiences, find common ground, and have a nice chat.

On Wednesday morning, June 17, we are organizing the first Mama Chat. We welcome a maximum of 30 moms for a relaxed and cozy morning. Over a cup of coffee, fresh tea or cappuccino, and a treat, we will chat together about motherhood.

How do you help your child with emotions?
During this first Mama Chat, the theme is emotions first.
Children experience all kinds of emotions every day. Sometimes it is difficult to understand and express those feelings. How do you deal with disappointment or sadness? What do you do when your child is angry or not allowed to play along, or when something is forbidden?

During this morning, we will discuss together how you can support your child in recognizing, naming, and regulating emotions. We will discuss practical tips and relatable situations from daily life, so that you as a parent gain more tools to respond calmly and sensitively. There will also be time to exchange experiences and ask questions. Together, you create a safe foundation in which your child feels understood and learns to cope with emotions, no matter how difficult they may sometimes be.

A pedagogical coach from Kober is present to offer support and provide advice.
