On Thursday, January 29, Kober and the alliance partners were guests in the beautiful Chapel of KPO Roosendaal for the New Year's reception of For Us Roosendaal: an afternoon full of good conversations, new connections and palpable energy.
The progress report was presented during the meeting: a joint interim assessment of the National Roosendaal Program. Where are we now? What have we initiated? And also: what direction will we choose together for the coming years?
A good start for every child
In Roosendaal, a special implementation program is strongly committed to the youngest children: the Chain Approach for the First 2500 Days. This focuses on the period from pregnancy to the moment a child enters Group 3. These years lay the foundation for development and future opportunities. Together with schools, childcare, the child health clinic, and
care and welfare organizations, we ensure that every child is seen and that parents are not alone.
As alliance partner Kober is happy to contribute to this. Together with other involved organizations, we ensure that toddlers can participate in 16 hours of preschool education. Thanks to the financial contribution from the NPR, this will be completely free for children living in the focus neighborhoods starting in the 2024/2025 school year.
