Daycare center De Griffioen: we give your child space!
Looking for a daycare center where play, discovery, and learning come together? Then your child will be in the right place at De Griffoen Daycare, located in the new building of the Griffoen primary school. We have our own creative play areas, with a sensory corner, a building corner, and a house corner. Of course, there are comfortable bedrooms for some much-needed peace and quiet. For dancing, climbing, and clambering games, we have the play hall in our wing. And that's not even mentioning our fantastic outdoor area, with climbing hills, a sandbox with a water feature, an insect hotel, and butterfly bushes. Fully equipped to meet the play needs of children from birth to four years old.
Good to Know
• The daycare center is divided into four groups: two for babies and toddlers and two for preschoolers.
• Together with primary school De Griffioen We're working on an integrated childcare center. This means that toddlers regularly play together with preschoolers. And we do theme-based activities together.
• Clients of healthcare organizations Amarant Offer additional support to the group, for example, by doing laundry or helping with cutting fruit. This aligns well with Kober's social mission.

The hourly rate includes:

Your child will not want for anything!
Holidays and other days when your child is absent and has been canceled can be used at other times, if staffing allows. That's convenient.
This location is registered in the National Childcare Register. You'll need this number when applying for childcare allowance from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. The most recent Municipal Health Service (GGD) report for this location can also be found on the LRK website.
Our locations are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Need early or extended care? Please contact us to discuss the options.
In 2026, our locations will be closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day – Thursday, January 1
- Easter Monday – Monday, April 6
- King's Day – Monday, April 27
- Liberation Day – Tuesday, May 5
- Ascension Day – Thursday, May 14
- Whit Monday – Monday, May 25
- Christmas Day – Friday, December 25
- Two training days for our staff, to be determined later. We will announce these at least four weeks in advance and coordinate with the local parent committee.

What does a day at daycare look like?
