Vestetuin Art After-School Care: discover your talent!
Learning to draw, paint, or take music lessons after school is extra easy at Vestetuin art after-school care. We are located in New VesteSo all their courses are within easy reach. You can also pop into the library, play in the courtyard of Nieuwe Veste, or in the nearby park.
This makes the after-school arts center the ideal place to explore art and culture, discover talents, and meet peers with similar interests. Children from all over Breda come here to take courses or music lessons during after-school hours. If the distance is too far for you to cycle, we're happy to explore options such as taking a taxi.

The hourly rate includes:
- food and drinks, including fruit and healthy snacks
- extra activities, excursions and theme weeks
Your child will not want for anything!
Holidays and other days when your child is absent and has been canceled can be used at other times, if staffing allows. That's convenient.
This location is registered in the National Childcare Register. You'll need this number when applying for childcare allowance from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. The most recent Municipal Health Service (GGD) report for this location can also be found on the LRK website.

- New Year's Day – Thursday, January 1
- Easter Monday – Monday, April 6
- King's Day – Monday, April 27
- Liberation Day – Tuesday, May 5
- Ascension Day – Thursday, May 14
- Whit Monday – Monday, May 25
- Christmas Day – Friday, December 25
- Two training days for our staff, to be determined later. We will announce these at least four weeks in advance and coordinate with the local parent committee.

What does a day at the after-school care center look like?
After-school care is the perfect place to play with peers and discover new talents and hobbies. We happily make use of the DoenKids program, a database full of activities. Pedagogical professional Sharon explains: “Every day is different, but we do offer your child a fixed routine.”
