After-school care NatuurTuin Zuid: crazy about playing outside

Does your child love playing outside, is crazy about animals, and prefers to be in nature? Then NatuurTuin Zuid is the perfect place! Based at the visitor center of the Wolfslaar petting zoo, we'll spend the whole afternoon outdoors: caring for animals, building huts, lighting fires, making insect hotels, training goats, and gardening in the vegetable patch. And if the farmer needs extra hands, we'll jump in.

We're strongly committed to environmental education, nature conservation, and sustainability. In that regard, the new food forest is a wonderful place to experiment and experience. Under expert guidance, children will learn what they can eat from nature.

Practical

  • We bring and pick up children from KBS Laurentius and primary school Dr. De VisserschoolChildren over 9 years old may cycle to after-school care on their own, but only after completing the Kober cycling training.
  • Since we will be spending a lot of time outdoors, it would be helpful if you brought boots, (warm) outdoor clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, and possibly a raincoat.
  • Good to know: we adhere to the code of hygiene on petting zoos.
  • You can also combine childcare at after-school care center NatuurTuin Zuid with another after-school care center.
