Okidoki after-school care: creative and dynamic
Budding techies, creative types, and culinary experts are in their element at Okidoki, a versatile after-school care center on the edge of the city center. This is the place to be if you enjoy DIY. Drilling, soldering, jigsaws, screwing engines together and apart—nothing is too crazy in the dedicated technology room. Under expert guidance, you'll create the coolest things. Prefer sewing? That's also possible! Or get to work in the spacious kitchen. Do you enjoy being outdoors? You're welcome to garden in the vegetable patch, where we grow sunflowers, tomatoes, and strawberries. And there's always someone ready to kick a ball around in our outdoor playground.
Good to Know
- Okidoki is large, but the groups are well-divided. This keeps things manageable and familiar.
- Children can play sports and exercise in the gym three times a week, under the supervision of a sports-minded pedagogical staff member.
- We bring and pick up children from Boeimeer Primary School, we are picking up the children from Montessori school Breda en KBS Peter and Paul.
- We are open every day except Wednesday.

The hourly rate includes:
- food and drinks, including fruit and healthy snacks
- extra activities, excursions and theme weeks
Your child will not want for anything!
Holidays and other days when your child is absent and has been canceled can be used at other times, if staffing allows. That's convenient.
This location is registered in the National Childcare Register. You'll need this number when applying for childcare allowance from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. The most recent Municipal Health Service (GGD) report for this location can also be found on the LRK website.

- Whit Monday – Monday, May 25
- Christmas Day – Friday, December 25
- Two training days for our staff, to be determined later. We will announce these at least four weeks in advance and coordinate with the local parent committee.

After-school care is the perfect place to play with peers and discover new talents and hobbies. We happily make use of the DoenKids program, a database full of activities. Pedagogical professional Sharon explains: “Every day is different, but we do offer your child a fixed routine.”
