After-school care Spiegeltuin: homely and diverse
In St. Martinus School In the center of Rucphen, you'll find after-school care center Spiegeltuin. It's a cozy place for your child to recharge after school, relax, and then get back to playing. The dedicated staff make every day a joy: building huts and tents, exploring the woods, or enjoying crafts at the table. They also organize workshops. This way, children discover nature, sports, art, and culture in a playful way. You can play with us from Monday to Friday, and we're also open during the school holidays!

At Spiegeltuin, no two days are the same. This is partly because the staff always come up with new activities, both indoors and outdoors.

The hourly rate includes:
- food and drinks, including fruit and healthy snacks
- extra activities, excursions and theme weeks
Your child will not want for anything!
Holidays and other days when your child is absent and has been canceled can be used at other times, if staffing allows. That's convenient.
This location is registered in the National Childcare Register. You'll need this number when applying for childcare allowance from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. The most recent Municipal Health Service (GGD) report for this location can also be found on the LRK website.

- New Year's Day – Thursday, January 1
- Easter Monday – Monday, April 6
- King's Day – Monday, April 27
- Liberation Day – Tuesday, May 5
- Ascension Day – Thursday, May 14
- Whit Monday – Monday, May 25
- Christmas Day – Friday, December 25
- Two training days for our staff, to be determined later. We will announce these at least four weeks in advance and coordinate with the local parent committee.

What does a day at the after-school care center look like?
After-school care is the perfect place to play with peers and discover new talents and hobbies. We happily make use of the DoenKids program, a database full of activities. Pedagogical professional Sharon explains: “Every day is different, but we do offer your child a fixed routine.”
