Werveltuin Toddler Daycare: creative movement
Walking backward to the toilet, skipping along a path: at Werveltuin daycare, we get toddlers moving in a playful way. Several staff members have completed the "Lekker Fit!" training; they know how to create creative movement moments throughout the day. Think of it as an extra boost for your child's motor development. Fortunately, we also have plenty of space for it: in our own playfully designed group, which is adjacent to the kindergarten classes. De Werft primary school. But also outside, at the playground. We can also use the school's playroom.
Good to Know
- We offer preschool and early childhood education (VVE). To be eligible, a referral from the child health clinic is required.
- We work closely with the school. Together, we ensure a smooth transition to preschool. We also participate in the "The Leader in Me" training program together. This helps children learn to collaborate, communicate effectively, and be self-reliant.

This location is registered in the National Childcare Register. You'll need this number when applying for childcare allowance from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. The most recent Municipal Health Service (GGD) report for this location can also be found on the LRK website.

What does a day at daycare look like?
Your child is eager to discover the world. Naturally, we ensure there is plenty to do: dressing up, building, gymnastics, reading, making music… This way, we align with your toddler’s developmental stages.
