When choosing out-of-school care, you want to be sure that your child is in good hands. At Kober, we consider this very important as well. That is why we love creating a pleasant, safe place where your child feels seen and enjoys coming. With us, they get plenty of space to develop, grow, play, share, and learn, each at their own pace. What is out-of-school care?
Out-of-school care (BSO) is for children aged 4 to 13. This can include after-school care, pre-school care, or lunchtime care. From approximately age 8-9, children often transition to Top BSO for greater independence and challenge. At Kober, we aim to align our care with the school as much as possible; therefore, we are often located in the same building or on the same grounds. This ensures your child remains in a familiar and trusted environment. We also offer holiday care. So, you do not need to worry about teacher training days, days off from school, or holidays.
Why choose after-school care from Kober?
- Familiar and personal: we work with small teams and familiar faces who look after your child outside of school. This means that your child is supervised by trusted staff members who really know him or her.

There is always something fun to do at our after-school care centers. We offer a varied range of activities: from arts and crafts and urban dance to cooking, sports, and themed projects such as seasonal and nature activities. Facilities and layout of our after-school care centers
Kober's after-school care centers are well-equipped, both indoors and outdoors, with all the materials needed to challenge children and allow them to explore. Indoors, the spacious rooms offer plenty of opportunities for play in, for example, a playhouse corner, arts and crafts corner, or LEGO corner. Outdoors, we also like to make use of the open space, with specially developed outdoor areas where children can explore, carry things, and build. For extra sports and exercise, we make use of gymnasiums and playgrounds, where there is plenty of room to play football, dance, and play freely. At the after-school care center, children can also choose from a wide variety of toys and materials, from paint to building materials, ensuring there is always something that suits them.

Every detail of the interior has been carefully considered. From the corner layout to the storage jars in the cupboard, everything has a clear function. This contributes to a positive pedagogical environment.
Research shows that greenery is good for you. That is why all the children at our center go outside every day to play in the grass, bake sand pies, or build huts.
We are opting for a green, playful base, using organic shapes and natural materials. An outdoor space that stimulates the senses and invites you to engage in all kinds of activities.
Extra services
Because we know that workdays can sometimes be very hectic, we are happy to think along with you. For instance, at a number of our locations, you can drop off your child earlier or pick them up later. Are you unable to use childcare on a particular occasion, for example due to illness? Then you can easily cancel your child's attendance via the Parent App. These hours can then be used at another time. Much more convenient. In addition, we offer a number of extra services. Take our hot meal service, for example. Handy on busy days: your child can eat a hot meal with us, so you no longer have to rush to cook at home.
