Learning and growing through play
Toddlers are curious. They want to understand, touch, smell, and explore the world around them. At De Hasselbraam, they are given plenty of space to do so. They play with peers, learn new words, discover shapes and colors, and practice social skills. All at their own pace. Every day is different: we build, read, sing, climb, dress up, and fantasize. Our pedagogical professionals ensure a pleasant atmosphere and help children build self-confidence step by step.

Ready for primary school
Because the preschool is located within the school, the transition to Group 1 will be much easier. Your child is already familiar with the environment, and the collaboration between the daycare and school ensures a warm and welcoming transition. Children also learn to interact within the group: playing together, sharing together, and finding solutions together. For children with an early childhood education (VVE) indication (see here more about VVE) there is extra attention for language, arithmetic, motor skills, and social-emotional development, in small groups and under the guidance of specially trained staff.
