Daily routine at the daycare center
Children spend a full day at our daycare center. But what does such a day actually look like? We would be happy to go through the daily schedule with you step by step. Every moment of the day is deliberately structured so that your child feels at ease and wants for nothing. Your child is part of a fixed group with the familiar faces of our pedagogical professionals. They ensure that every child has a pleasant, carefree day. Would you prefer to visit? 07:30 – Arrival and start-up

The day begins with a conscious transition from home to the group. Together, we look at what your child needs. Every child arrives differently: one might want to play immediately, while another wants to look around first or prefers to stay close to a staff member. We cater to your child's needs so that they feel safe and welcome. This allows everyone to start the day off well.
09:30 – Eating fruit

We start the day together with a fruit snack. At the table, the children come together for a moment, and we make time for a chat, a song, or a short story. In this way, we create a cozy start to the day together.
10:00 AM – Sleep and play

In the morning, there is time for play, exploration, and moments of rest. Babies follow their own eating and sleeping rhythms, while older children increasingly participate in the daily routine. In a rich play environment, children choose activities that suit their development.
11.30:XNUMX am – Lunch

During lunch, we all eat together at the table. We encourage children to make their own choices, to try things out, and to become increasingly independent, for example when spreading butter on bread or pouring drinks. It is truly a social moment where children are together and learn from each other.
12:00 – Sleep or an activity

After lunch, many children take a nap. Children who stay awake participate in an activity in a smaller group. This allows for extra attention and more challenging activities that match their age and interests.
3:00 PM – Snack and play

In the afternoon, we eat a healthy snack together, such as vegetables, fruit, or yogurt. Afterwards, there is time to play, indoors or outdoors. Children explore, move, and play together or individually, with room for their own initiative.
16:30–18:30 – Pick-up and closing

At the end of the day, children are picked up. We share the most important experiences with you as a parent and give your child the space to show or tell us something. This way, we end the day on a pleasant note together.
Activities at the daycare center
At Kober, children aged 0 to 4 experience varied activities every day that align with what they enjoy and what they are ready for. Sometimes children choose what they want to play with themselves, and sometimes we do group activities together such as reading aloud, singing, movement, or arts and crafts. We also love going outside to explore and play, even with the very youngest. Our pedagogical professionals ensure a varied day full of fun and attention to development, with small, precious moments that your child can truly enjoy.
Senses on a journey of discovery
Young children learn with their whole bodies. By feeling, looking, listening, and experimenting, they discover how the world works. A ball that rolls, blocks that fall over, or something that fits exactly into a container. Materials are placed at eye level so that children can choose for themselves and take initiative. We are close by, watch along, and instill the confidence to keep exploring.
Hands to work
Grasping, feeling, and trying out. This is how young children learn to interact with materials through play. What happens when you crumple paper or tear it? How does paint feel on your hands, and what does clay do when you squeeze it? By using materials in different ways, children discover what something can do and how it changes. They are allowed to experiment freely, over and over again. We stay close by, demonstrate, and observe, so that children continue to try with confidence and maintain the joy of discovery.
Moving from head to toe
With us, you are encouraged to move around a lot, because that is how you discover how your arms, legs, hands, and feet work together. Rolling, scooting, crawling, walking, and running: there is a need for this, so we make room for it! Through the crawl tunnel, over the climbing triangle, down the slide, following a walker, and on a bike. With slanted platforms and low elevations, children practice balancing, climbing, and stepping back down. Over something, under it, trying again. This gets the whole body moving and helps children gain a better understanding of what they can do.
Look together, do together
In the group, children enjoy being together, whether playing with each other or alongside one another. Playing together is allowed, but not yet required. We create conscious group moments through circle games, reading books, and time at the table. During free play, the choice is up to the children themselves. By being together in a space, children see what others are doing, and this can be contagious. We name what is happening and assist with small moments, such as waiting your turn or trying something together. In this way, children learn to see each other, and collaborative play is allowed to develop gradually: from playing alongside each other to occasionally playing together, each child at their own pace.

At the daycare center, children learn who they are step by step. Every day, they show us what they are feeling: happy and curious, tired, or in need of closeness. That is why we observe closely, connect with them, and put into words what a child is experiencing. Through songs, short stories, and role-play, children discover their own feelings and reactions. What do you like? When is enough enough? Do you like hustle and bustle, or do you prefer peace and quiet? This is how children get to know themselves. We follow where possible, play along where helpful, and at the same time allow ourselves to be surprised. Because every child develops in their own way, and that is exactly what makes it so beautiful.
Experience the outdoors
Being outdoors is an integral part of daycare. Fresh air, different sounds, a different surface, and above all: space to move freely. Outside feels different from inside. Without a ceiling, with the wind on your face, and plenty of new things to discover. This stimulates the senses and invites movement, observation, and touch. Even the youngest children go outside to experience the feel of grass, the rustling of leaves, and how big the world suddenly seems. In this way, children constantly gather new impressions outdoors, at their own pace and perfectly suited to their age.

Children choose where they want to play, according to their interests and developmental stage.
