After-school care De Koperakker

Last year, Kober launched a pilot with an out-of-school care+ group in collaboration with special education school De Koperakker. This out-of-school care+ group is exclusively for children from De Koperakker. After school hours, they can come here for extra guidance and support. This pilot runs until the end of the 2026/2027 school year; that is, through June 2027.

The after-school care center is located in the Linde classroom. This space is fully furnished in Kober style for after-school care. Children can unwind and relax here, but also have the opportunity to play and use their imaginations.

Small & fine
The new after-school care+ group is for children aged 4 to 13 who need extra attention, structure, and guidance. The group is smaller than a regular after-school care group and has its own quiet area. Here, children can play but also retreat when needed. There are fewer stimuli and more specialized guidance is available. The after-school care is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. There is no after-school care before school or during the holidays.

Pros
The after-school care is in primary school De KoperakkerThis means that we work closely with the school team and discuss how your child is doing or what they need. The team that supports the children consists of two pedagogical specialists. They ensure the best possible environment for the children. We follow the same rules as at school, so that it is clear and familiar to the children.
