Harlekijn Daycare: clear and familiar
Pleasant, bright spaces, a familiar atmosphere, and a huge commitment from our staff: these are the hallmarks of Harlekijn. The daycare center is centrally located in the Brabantpark neighborhood, on the edge of the park of the same name. This makes it a wonderful home base for your baby, toddler, or preschooler. Spread across three different groups, we offer a variety of activities. Within the group itself—singing songs, crafts, and playing. In the bright playroom—dancing, climbing, and clambering. And outside—running, cycling, playing in the sandbox, cooking, and balancing on the logs. We also enjoy taking our handcart on trips, for example, to the ducks or the library.
Did you know…
- we have a baby group, toddler group and vertical group (0-4 years)?
- We work with a reading coach? It's good for your child's language development.
- Each group room is directly adjacent to the outdoor playground? This makes it extra easy to spend lots of time outdoors.

The hourly rate includes:
- food and drinks, including fruit and healthy snacks
- diapers
- extra activities, excursions and theme weeks
Your child will not want for anything!
Holidays and other days when your child is absent and has been canceled can be used at other times, if staffing allows. That's convenient.
This location is registered in the National Childcare Register. You'll need this number when applying for childcare allowance from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. The most recent Municipal Health Service (GGD) report for this location can also be found on the LRK website.
Our locations are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Need early or extended care? Please contact us to discuss the options.
In 2026, our locations will be closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day – Thursday, January 1
- Easter Monday – Monday, April 6
- King's Day – Monday, April 27
- Liberation Day – Tuesday, May 5
- Ascension Day – Thursday, May 14
- Whit Monday – Monday, May 25
- Christmas Day – Friday, December 25
- Two training days for our staff, to be determined later. We will announce these at least four weeks in advance and coordinate with the local parent committee.
